Synergine worked with Taupō Airport Authority, Taupō District Council and the Ministry of Transport to produce a business case for the $10M redevelopment of the airport, connecting different branches of regional and national government, to demonstrate how the potential local, regional and national quadruple bottom line benefits could be realised through catalyst investment in this key asset.
Synergine’s data science specialisation was crucial in creating hard evidence for the benefits the airport’s redevelopment would bring to the region, through combining multiple data sources to produce a comprehensive economic model of the airport’s future effects on the region and the nation.
