Safety is a priority across policies nationally, regionally and within Auckland Transport. An increase in investment and focus on road safety has followed the release of the Government Policy Statement on Land Transport (2018) at the national level, the Regional Land Transport Plan 2018 – 2028, Auckland Transport Alignment Project and The Auckland Plan.
Auckland Transport engaged Synergine to provide project management and coordination to assist in meeting these additional requirements. Synergine provided programming, tracking, reporting, process and improvement plans, and coordination with other divisions across AT. Reports have been prepared for the Auckland Transport Board’s Safety and HR Committee, the Finance, Capital and Risk Committee and the Executive Leadership Team.
