About Synergine
Synergine is a values based company. These values (see across) were developed at the company’s inception and have guided its development to the present day. They provide an everyday reference to ensure that all that is done under the Synergine banner is consistent with the guiding principles of the company.
A practical way that the values have outworked in the company’s development has been the entry of Synergine into the International Aid arena. This involvement, which has grown out of a partnership with World Vision, has seen Synergine staff travel to such remote places as the Gobi Desert in Outer Mongolia and various locations in Cambodia. The objective of these challenging journeys was to seek to bring much needed primary infrastructure and training to the local population. The result of the Synergine/World Vision partnership assisted by funding from NZAid, was the design and construction of a series of water supply wells, reticulation infrastructure and associated irrigation systems in Mongolia, and improved water and wastewater services in Cambodia.
The Synergine staff found these exercises tremendously rewarding and a great opportunity to use their skills for the benefit of people who have an acute need for what we take for granted here in New Zealand.
